A HEALTH and fitness studio based in Over Peover has signed a deal with an emerging gym clothing brand based in the north west.

IM Elite Fitness, based at Colshaw Hall in Over Peover, has struck an accord with up-and-coming Manchester-based gym and fitness apparel brand Muscle-In.

In addition to the owners of IM Elite Fitness and its training staff having chosen to wear Muscle-In as their preferred sportswear, they will promote the IM product range to their clientele.

Jimmy Irlam, IM Elite Fitness director, said: “We took a long, hard look at sports and fitness apparel producers, mainstream and niche, and were instantly drawn to Muscle-In and its brand positioning.

“They have been successful in producing a fresh and sophisticated new look to their range of male gym and leisurewear, and its appeal is aligned perfectly to the persona of our studio. Our female clientele have been delighted to hear that a range for the ladies is due to be launched in spring 2014.”

Paula Teader, Muscle-In director, said: “We are delighted that IM Elite Fitness has been attracted to Muscle-In and we are looking forward to working with their team moving forwards.

“They, like ourselves, have ambitious plans for developing their business, and we feel there is great synergy between both parties to work and develop alongside each other.

“Muscle-In continues to attract attention from a number of gyms, whether owner-occupied or as part of a larger chain, and we are already looking to expand our affiliation programme with a number of partners. Indeed we are already in discussion with several contacts and on a national basis.”

IM Elite Fitness was set up by Jimmy and Ben Morris in October 2012.

A former professional rugby union player with Sale Sharks, Jimmy was forced to retire from the game due to injury early in his career. Ben has also enjoyed a spell in professional sport, having signed for Manchester City straight from leaving school.
