Tatton Park visitors are promised a frightful time
1:20pm Thursday 24th October 2013 in News
THERE will be spook-tacular goings on this half-term at Tatton Park.
A series of spine-chilling activities take place across the park during the Halloween period, but the half-term hauntings at the Old Hall will top the fright list.
Until Thursday, October 31, families will get a chance to meet Tatton’s spooks and spirits as they make their way through the haunted house.
Brave visitors can help solve the Horrible History Mystery, while the more skittish can take part in monstrous mask-making, frightful face-painting, storytelling and a fun fair.
Old Hall co-ordinator Mick Ricketts said: “We recommend safety in numbers, and to dress spook-tacularly to try and scare off our spectres.”
Until November 3 visitors can go ghost hunting in the gardens, and until October 27 Don the deerstalker will help young detectives solve the case of the missing Mansion treasure.
There will be spooky surprises at the farm until November 3 with a Halloween theme throughout the maize maze and ghoulish painting in the old schoolroom.
