A HAIRDRESSER who aims to ease the pain of hair loss is celebrating her first 10 months of business by offering her personal wig supplying service to people in Knutsford.
Mother-of-three Sue Pogson set up Hairs and Graces in January as a way of reaching out to those who have suffered hair loss through ill health, whether it be cancer, alopecia or other illnesses.
Until now, the Northwich resident has been offering her services to people in her hometown as well as Winsford and Middlewich.
Now, the 47-year-old – who has been placed on Leighton Hospital’s supply list and hopes to try to get onto Macclesfield’s too – wants to help those living in and around Knutsford.
“I suffered hair loss myself and all of the trauma that goes with it so know how hard it can be,” she said. “My aim is to make the process easier.”
As well as providing wigs for those who have lost their hair through cancer and alopecia, Sue, a trained hairdresser, also cuts hair prior to a person losing it completely.
She also styles wigs for people who may already own one.
