Have your say on what the council should focus on

THERE are two weeks left for residents to have their say on the priorities for Knutsford Town Council through its Strategic Plan.
The Town Council Strategic Plan, which will help focus the council’s work over the next seven years, was opened for consultation at the beginning of September, with a deadline for comments on November 1.
Acting town clerk Adam Keppel-Garner said: “It is a great opportunity for the people of Knutsford to let the town council know what they think we should be focusing on.
“The purpose of the consultation is for the public to help direct the town council.
“We want to hear what people think of our draft aims and make suggestions as to what improvements we can make within the town.”
The Strategic Plan focuses on five key areas for improvement, which are split into more specific aims, such as promoting economic vibrancy, maximising the visitor economy, promoting improvements in the town centre, improving community engagement and maximising access to sports and leisure.
The document can be accessed online at knutsfordtowncouncil.gov.uk/consultations.
The consultation is open to residents, community groups and businesses in the town.
Copies of the document can be ordered from the town council offices by calling 01565 653 929 or e-mailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
