Track down crime writer at the festival

FANS of award-winning crime writer Andrew Martin will be able to hear from the man himself at Knutsford Literature Festival next week.
The author will be at the festival on Thursday, October 17 to talk about his latest book in the Jim Stringer railway detective series, Night Train to Jamalpur.
In a departure from his usual settings in this, the ninth book in the series, the intrepid railway detective finds himself in India in the 1920s in an atmosphere of social and economic turbulence and unrest.
Andrew will be giving a preview at the Leicester Warren Hall, Bexton Lane at 8pm.
Andrew Lycett will be talking about the life and work of the first of the detective fiction writers, Wilkie Collins, in a further talk being held as part of the festival.
Andrew will be signing copies of his new book after the talk at the Leicester Warren Hall on Wednesday, October 16 at 8pm.
