Tuition centre opens in heart of Knutsford
A NEW private tuition centre at the heart of Knutsford has officially opened its doors.
Accelerate Learning, situated above the McClaren Garage on Canute Place, held its grand opening on September 7.
The Mayor of Knutsford, Clr Barbara Coan, was on hand to cut the ribbon and visiting children were treated to face-painting and balloon animals.
Accelerate Learning has 20 years’ experience of providing tuition to children and young people in Allerton and Alderley Edge, and has helped thousands of students reach their potential.
Centre director, Charlotte Bowden, hopes to replicate this success in Knutsford.
She said: “We use brain training technology alongside traditional tutoring to improve pupils’ concentration, memory and thinking skills.
“The combination has a proven record of success in our established centres, and we can’t wait to work with parents and children in Knutsford.”
The centre provides after-school tuition for children aged five to 18, and covers maths and English tuition, 11-plus exam preparation, GCSE tuition and A-level tuition.
Assistant centre director, Andrew Rossall said: “We’re really excited to be part of the community.
“We’ve had a great initial response and we’re looking forward to a long future in the area.”
The centre’s opening times are Monday to Friday, 3pm to 7pm, and Saturday and Sunday, 9am to 4pm.
