Mayor to hold charity dinner
6:30pm Wednesday 11th September 2013 in News
KNUTSFORD’S mayor is holding a charity dinner to raise funds for her chosen causes.
Clr Barbara Coan will hold the event on Wednesday, September 18 at 6.30pm at Don Giovanni’s on King Street.
The evening will be in aid of Knutsford and District Lions and Cheshire Search and Rescue – her charities for the year – as well as Knutsford Cancer Research, Upper 60 Homeless People and Proud and Loud Arts.
Clr Coan said: “I am delighted to be working closely with one of Knutsford’s newest businesses on this event and hope we get a great turnout.
“A share of the proceeds go towards the Mayor’s Charities which this year are Cheshire Search and Rescue and the Knutsford Lions.”
The event will cost £35 per person and will include a three-course meal, with 50 per cent of the cost being donated to the charities.
If you would like to attend the event please contact the restaurant on email@example.com or call 01565 632576.
