TAKING a new slant on Knutsford is photographer Paul Worpole, who was commissioned to take photographs of the town by the Knutsford Heritage Centre.
“We needed new photography for our website, leaflet and publicity,” said Val Bryant.
“What Paul has produced will certainly give a different look to our public relations and advertising.”
A selection of the new photographs can be seen in an exhibition in the centre’s Musgrave Gallery from Tuesday, September 10. The prints will be able to purchase during the exhibition, with 10 per cent going to support the centre.
“Being asked to produce images for the Knutsford Heritage Centre was a bit of a daunting task, as I know Knutsford has so many facets and so many passionate supporters,” said Paul.
“I decided to create an alternative look by emphasising the buildings; by including ‘a good slice’ of sky to focus the attention on the subject and remove it from its everyday surroundings.”
The exhibition runs at the heritage centre from September 10 to Saturday, October 5 from 11am to 4pm (closed Mondays) and 2pm to 5pm on Sundays.
