DOWNTON Abbey meets Manchester United at the Actor Tribe Open Day on Saturday at the Brook Street Chapel Hall.
A Manchester United shirt given to Downton Abbey star Kevin Doyle featuring the name of his character, the butler and valet Molesley, on the back with the number 20, is one of the special prizes on offer on the day.
Lee Boardman and wife Jennifer James are opening the Saturday acting school on September 7.
“Since we announced the launch of Actor Tribe we've had a superb response and lots of support from our friends in the business,” said Lee.
“We were delighted when Kevin offered us his treasured Manchester United shirt as a prize for our open day draw.
“We’re holding the open day to meet up with everyone who has already subscribed and to chat to those who are interested but want to find out more about the classes,” added Jennifer.
“The prize draw is an extra bit of fun – apart from Kevin’s Manchester United shirt, we’ll have other prizes on offer, including one of Lee’s Great Night Out scripts, and a Scott and Bailey series three script signed by Suranne Jones.”
Actor Tribe aims to provide children and adults with an opportunity to learn performance skills or just simply increase their confidence.
To find out more, take part in the open day on Saturday, August 31 from 10am to 3pm at the Brook Street Chapel Hall.
