Singer-songwriter to guest star at artisan market
11:30am Thursday 29th August 2013 in News
THE next artisan market in Knutsford on Sunday will play host to several exciting additions.
Market stalls will be joined by Tim Clarke, a Knutsford singer-songwriter, who has been composing for TV and other media since 2001.
He has composed bespoke music for some of the biggest brands across the world, including campaigns for Adidas, Good Year, Samsung, BBC iPlayer, Nokia, Marmite, T-Mobile, Carlsberg, McDonalds and many others.
Tim will be performing on Silk Mill Street from 1pm and will be joined on the day by Loose Change, the talented buskers who to date have raised more than £80,000 for Cancer Research this year, and aim to collect £100,000 by the end of the year.
They will be performing from noon-4pm outside the hot food arena.
Knutsford chef David Mooney will once again take his large shopping bag around the market stalls and local businesses selecting some of the fresh local produce available.
He’ll then take it back to his kitchens at The Old Sessions House and prepare for the cooking demos taking place outside in the pop-up demo kitchen.
Knutsford Indoor Market, on Silk Mill Street, will also be open on the day.
The market is set to start at 11am and will finish at about 4pm.
