Tanya and Deno celebrate business’ 10th birthday

A HUSBAND and wife team from Knutsford marked the 10th anniversary of their business this month.
Tanya and Deno Davie – a cycling gold medallist at the Commonwealth Games – have been running the UK operation of leading health and fitness programme, Stretch-n-Grow, for a decade, and believe their passion and beliefs of the benefits of exercise for youngsters which underpins the success of the programme in the UK.
Parents to Daisy, 11, and Rocco, eight, the couple were captivated by the Stretch-n-Grow concept, which teaches children as young as 16 months the fundamentals of a healthy active lifestyle, which they first encountered it in the US.
Deno said: “Tanya and I were so taken by the Stretch-n-Grow concept in 2003, and we were confident it would be welcomed by the nursery sector in this country.
“Ten years on, we are still beating the drum for Stretch-n-Grow. The UK network continues to grow, with franchises operating across the country and franchisees buying into new areas all the time.
“Tanya and I are passionate about Stretch-n-Grow.
“The importance of fitness and nutrition and creating positive habits at a young age runs through our veins.
“We are looking forward to continuing to expand the Stretch-n-Grow portfolio.”
