AN international tyre company has pledged to make a difference to two Knutsford charities this year by giving them a chance to share a pot of £100,000.
Kumho Tyres, one of the world’s leading tyre manufacturers, has launched its 2013 Cash for Causes campaign.
The annual campaign, which is now in its second year, will see the company give away more than £100,000 to deserving local charities, groups and projects, through its ECSTA Performance Centre (EPC) national network.
Knutsford Royal Mayday Festival and Holly House Veterinary Surgery have both been put forward by Longridge-based Bob Farnon Tyres.
They will both receive a share after being nominated, but need Knutsfordians to vote for them to win the grand prize of £5,000.
People can vote online at kumhocauses.com, or by visiting Bob Farnon Tyres.
Kumho Tyres’ marketing director John Thrupp said: “Helping communities and supporting worthwhile causes is part of Kumho’s DNA; Korean companies are very aware of their social responsibilities.”
Voting closes on October 1. To vote click here
