A KNUTSFORD firm has announced a deal which will see it provide tickets for some of South Africa’s biggest sporting stadiums.

IRIS Ticketing, based in Booths Hall, has announced a partnership with Computicket, the largest ticketing agency in South Africa, to drive success of its ticketing system, TALENT, throughout South Africa and other African countries.

The Nelson Mandela Bay stadium in Port Elizabeth is the latest stadium to adopt the fully integrated Computicket/TALENT solution, while the two companies have also worked together with a number of other sports customers in the country, including the Moses Mabhida stadium in Durban which, along with Nelson Mandela Bay, hosted the soccer World Cup in 2010 and the Africa Cup of Nations 2013.

Mark Dewell, managing director at IRIS Ticketing, said: “Our international strategy is driven via a strong local partner model, and we’re delighted to have established a strategic partnership with Computicket.”

IRIS Ticketing already works with leading football clubs Liverpool FC, Everton FC, Leeds United FC and Galatasaray FC in Turkey.
