LATEST: Police hunt for firearms on Mobberley Raod
POLICE have arrested a man living in Mobberley Road and are searching his house for firearms after raiding his home in the early hours of this morning.
Commuters driving along Mobberley Road at 7.30am saw marked and unmarked police cars outside a house.
But a spokesperson for Cheshire Police said officers arrived at the house two hours earlier.
"At 5.30am on Thursday 14 March 2013, police executed a firearms warrant at an address in Mobberley Road in Knutsford," she said.
"Officers arrested a 27-year-old man at the address and are making a search of the property."
