Freddie Kofi is festival’s latest big name

AN award-winning singer is the latest big name to appear at a Knutsford church as part of its Real Lives festival.

UK singer-songwriter Freddie Kofi will appear at Knutsford Methodist Church in a concert on Friday, March 22, followed by speakers Fiona Castle and BBC Football Focus’ Dan Walker, on Saturday, March 23.

All of the talks begin at 7.30pm. Kofi has just released his new single, Aspire, in part as a prelude to the 50th anniversary of Dr Martin Luther King’s, I Have A Dream speech – which will be marked in August.

Freddie Kofi’s awards include a British Academy of Songwriters Composers and Authors award for his 2005 song Kiss and a Fellowship from the National Endowment for Science Technology and Arts.
