Town plan group urges residents to make their views known on public transport

A WORKING group of the Knutsford Town Plan said it is pleased the 27 service will return, but has urged residents to contact them with any other public transport queries.
Town plan member Derek Empson said: “I am now very encouraged by the apparent determination of Cheshire East councillors and officers to overcome Knutsford’s bus service deficiencies.
“In turn, I would encourage the community to make use of those services that are available, or will be in April.”
Mr Empson, leading the Knutsford Town Plan Transport Working Group, invites any, especially elderly people, who feel their part of Knutsford is not adequately covered by the 27 or 300 bus services to e-mail derek.empson@knutsfordtown plan.org or call 01565 651737.
