Air ambulance called after man was hit by a horse
AN elderly man was sent to hospital, after being kicked by a horse and hitting his head.
The 74-year-old was struck in the back by a horse and fell over, at around 4pm, on Wednesday last week, in Manor Lane, Ollerton.
North West Air Ambulance was called to assist, but the pensioner was transported to Leighton Hospital by ground crew paramedics at 4.50pm.
