Royal May Day parts set to be chosen
CHARACTERS for the 149th Knutsford Royal May Day will be chosen on Saturday, March 23.
The selection process starts at 2.30pm at Egerton Youth Club.
Secretary Ann de Ruiter said: “We’d like to request parents and children not to arrive too early. There are enough costumes for everyone.
“Please remember your child may not be able to have the costume they have decided on because it may be the wrong size.
“Also it is not always possible to put large groups of children together so we can accept a maximum of four please.
“We’d also remind parents to be patient as we have around 500 children to deal with.
“Many of the children cannot make up their mind.”
To take part children must be five-years-old by May Day, which takes place on May 4.
