Date set for Diana Lee's murder trial

THE man accused of killing Cranage cattery owner Diana Lee will be on trial at Chester Crown Court on Tuesday, June 4.

David Ryan, 48, of Byrom Street, Hale, has pleaded not guilty to Ms Lee’s murder.

The date for a trial was set after a pre-trial review on Monday, March 4.

Ryan was charged with Ms Lee’s murder after the 54-year-old was found dead from head wounds after an arson attack at Parklands Cattery in Byley Lane on August 9, 2012.
