Helen Guest and Beth Hancock have formed Tatton Bakes s130806
TWO friends have teamed up to create baked treats for Knutsford residents.
Helen Guest, 29, and Beth Hancock, 25, have combined their love of baking to form Tatton Bakes – a company that was formed in November and is based at Helen’s home on Tabley Road.
Despite only being formed a couple of months ago, the pair have already struck up deals with several Knutsford firms, including Gusto and Wonderful Weddings by JT.
They bake cake pops, celebration cakes, wedding cakes and cupcakes, and use only free range eggs.
Helen said: “We’re trying to be as local as we possibly can be.
“We’re not trying to be big or to be in supermarkets, we just want to be Knutsford-based and go from there.
“It’s a really popular thing to do at the moment, so we need to be different, but our primary goal is that it needs to taste good.”
