AN airport campaigner is to be formally thanked by Knutsford Town Council.
Councillors decided to send Jeff Gazzard a letter of thanks after noting the work he carried out to receive compensation for the town and its residents as a result of the Manchester Airport runway two scheme.
Clr Vivien Davies, town mayor, was asked to write to Mr Gazzard on behalf of the council.
