Marquee offer for community groups

COMMUNITY groups are urged to contact Toft Cricket Club if they need to hire a marquee this summer.

The club is holding its annual ball on June 29 – the town’s primary schools have their ball on June 28 – but this year there is an opportunity for someone to hire it on the Sunday.

In the past Knutsford Academy has used the marquee the day after Toft’s big bash, so students can perform music, as well as holding a family fun day.

But this year the school has decided not to use it, so the club is offering it for hire at a reduced fee to community groups, choirs, charities or whoever is interested.
