THE great and the good of Knutsford will be gathering for a premiere-style launch of the town’s new cinema.
Knutsford Studio Cinema is currently being transformed into Curzon Knutsford after the arthouse cinema chain signed a 25-year lease with Cheshire East Council.
The invite-only event on February 27 will see guests, including Cheshire East Mayor George Walton and Knutsford councillors, enjoy a drinks reception followed by an exclusive advance screening of the Frank Langella film Robot and Frank.
Guests will also be given a tour of the new facilities including the refurbished café bar.
The cinema also plans to run a business morning on Thursday, February 28, as well as public opening mornings on Friday and Saturday, March 1 and 2, to give the public the chance to look around.
