A COFFEE morning held to raise money for a children’s hospital and charity made more than £1,600 over the weekend.
Nicola Frith, of Lower Withington, teamed up with fellow mums Nina Eastwood, of Summers Way, Knutsford, and Sian Rourke, from Macclesfield to hold the coffee morning at Knutsford Methodist Church Hall in aid of Alder Hey Children’s Hospital and Ronald McDonald House.
The three mums have sons who have all been treated for heart probems at a Liverpool hospital and they decided to hold the coffee morning at Knutsford Methodist Church to raise money for the two charities.
