KNUTSFORD Academy students raised £800 in the space of only a few hours with a sponsored bag pack at Booths supermarket in Knutsford.

The funds raised by the year 12 students kicked off their collections for ‘Runway on a Runway’, a catwalk show to be held on March 21 at Manchester Airport.

It will showcase the latest in prom designs at the Concorde Conference Centre to raise money for charities including Make A Wish, Teenage Cancer Care and Medcare.
