A LOWER Peover resident is looking for like-minded ladies to join her in forming a ladies group.

Ann Law is hoping to form a group of women to take trips to the theatre and various other Cheshire attractions.

The 63-year-old, who formed a similar group when she lived in Wirral, said: “Women can’t just walk into pubs like men can.

“There are a lot of ladies out there who are lonely and on their own.

“It would be nice to get a group together which could go to the theatre on a Monday night or go for a drink or a meal.

“The group I started in the Wirral went on for 14 years.

“We had members who were younger than me, older than me, it doesn’t matter how old you are – everyone brings something different to the group.”
