Woman injured after Mere four-vehicle smash

A 20-YEAR-OLD woman was taken to Wythenshawe Hospital with minor injuries after a four-vehicle crash near Mere Golf Club.
The woman, who was driving a Toyota Aygo, was in collision with a Ford Kuga and Vauxhall van just after 1.30pm today, Wednesday, in Chester Road.
A silver panel van, thought to be a Volkswagen, was also involved but left the scene before police arrived.
A spokesman for Cheshire Police said investigations are continuing.
