BRITISH Red Cross is appealing for runners to take part in the Greater Manchester Marathon to support the charity.
New to the race calendar in 2012 after a 10-year absence, the marathon will be returning in April and includes the race village being located at Manchester United Football Club.
By running for the British Red Cross, which has a headquarters in Northwich Road, Knutsford, you will be helping people in crisis in the UK and across the world.
In 2012 more than 50 runners supporting Team Red Cross raised more than £15,000.
