Joggers raise £2,000 for charity

JOGGERS braved atrocious weather in April to raise £2,000 for the Children’s Disease Liver Foundation.

The event was organised by Knutsford Rotary Club and saw more than 200 people run around The Moor.

A cheque has been presented to foundation representative Sarah Biagetti.

Sarah’s eldest son was being treated for liver disease while she was giving birth to her younger son in the same hospital.

She received help and support from the foundation, and her son was later given a life-saving liver transplant.
