Businessmen invited to focus on forum group

A BUSINESS support group in Knutsford is creating a start-up package for budding entrepreneurs.

The Forum of Private Business in Drury Lane is asking the town’s businessman to join a one-off focus group at its offices at 5.45pm on February 12.

Opinions will help shape a new support service being launched later in the year.

“We’re ideally looking for people thinking about starting their own business but aren’t sure how to proceed, as well as those who’ve been going for 12 months or so,” said forum chief executive, Phil Orford.

“Far too many firms fail in their first three years, and the forum is keen to see that new start-ups are given the support they need to grow.”

Food and drink will be provided, and there will be £20 in M&S vouchers for those taking part.
