Nick appeals for musical voices
5:10pm Friday 25th January 2013 in News
KNUTSFORD Star Choir is on the look out for new members.
The group is run by Nick Montague, a choral director with more than 30 years experience in music of all types.
Now in its third year, the choir has sung at weddings, retirement homes and shopping centres and in October held a joint concert with the Dave Egerton Band at Toft Cricket Club and raised funds for the Children’s Adventure Farm Trust.
In December the choir held its annual Christmas concert at Knutsford Methodist Church, assisted by Egerton Primary School Choir, as well as leading the carols at Knutsford’s Christmas Lights Switch-On and Crib Service events.
Concerts are now being planned for 2013 and are currently looking for an experienced accompanist to attend these concerts, as well as the weekly Thursday rehearsals, which take place at 7.30pm at Knutsford Leisure Centre.
If you are interested, please contact Nick Montague on 07738 560687 or email him on nickmont123@gmail.com.
