FIREFIGHTERS from Cheshire’s Fire and Rescue Service visited Knutsford to offer drivers free car safety checks as colder weather sets in.
Knutsford people were part of more than 1,000 people and 282 vehicles across the county who had their tyres checked and were shown how to maintain vehicle water and oil levels.
Frances Egerton, road safety officer, said: “Engaging with drivers across Cheshire to advise them on safer driving in wintry conditions is important.”
