A POPULAR TV show in its third year will again be broadcasting live from Jodrell Bank this week.
The BBC’s Stargazing LIVE has returned for a third series this week, and the programmes are again being hosted live from The University of Manchester’s Jodrell Bank Observatory.
The popular astronomy show, presented by Professor Brian Cox, pictured, and comedian Dara O Briain is on BBC Two – and began last night, Tuesday.
It is also on tonight, Wednesday, and tomorrow, Thursday. Each programme starts at 8pm.
This year audiences will get the chance to learn more about the search for life on Mars.
Dr Tim O’Brien, associate director of the observatory, said: “Over the past few years Stargazing LIVE has managed to open up astronomy to the public in a unique way. At Jodrell we’re incredibly proud to be part of the programme and to contribute to the growing passion for astronomy it has ignited.”
