A KNUTSFORD resident has thanked townspeople who donated towards an appeal that helped homeless people.
Helen Wilson held a collection before Christmas in aid of Manchester-based the Mustard Tree.
As a result of the appeal, Helen told the Guardian three car loads of items, including food, hats, gloves and gifts, were taken to the centre.
She said she wanted to thank the town for its generosity, and confirmed that a permanent collection post throughout the year would be set up at Hal Whittakers Toy Shop on Princess Street.
