A KNUTSFORD couple had the best present they could ever wish for when their first child was born on Christmas Day.
Leland George Pownall Andrews was born at Macclesfield Hospital at 12.05am making him one of the first babies born on December 25.
“We’re absolutely made up,” said dad Steven Andrews.
“It gave us an amazing extra thing to look forward to at Christmas.”
Mum Sarah Pownall, of Manor Park North, had to stay in hospital on Christmas Day so proud Steven nipped home at 4am to grab her presents.
He also brought Sarah’s mum and sister Sharon and Maria Meade to meet the new addition to the family.
Leland weighed in at 7lb 13oz.
