Academy enters computer age

KNUTSFORD Academy has been recognised for its commitment to the computer age.
The school has won the approval as a ‘Computing At Schools Lead School in the National Network of Excellence for Computer Science’.
This is for schools which prove a commitment to teaching computer science, supporting primary schools with computer education from a young age and ensuring school leavers are equipped with the technical skills demanded by 21st century working life.
Knutsford Academy also has a programme to ensure teachers are up-to-speed with making best use of computers and the internet.
