12:00pm Thursday 13th December 2012 in News
ALL lanes are now open on the M6 southbound between junction 19 A556 (Knutsford) and junction 18 A54 (Middlewich/Holmes Chapel) following an earlier accident.
Police were called to the scene at 11.27am today, Thursday, following a collision between a Renault Megane and a Honda Jazz where two people suffered minor injuries.
Lanes one, two and three of three were closed just before junction 18, with traffic using the hard shoulder to pass the scene while emergency services worked at the scene.
The carriageway reopened shortly before 12pm.
Traffic is still queuing, with delays of approximately 15 minutes.
Normal traffic conditions are expected from 12.30pm.
