£3,000 charity boost thanks to Gusto event
2:40pm Monday 17th December 2012 in News
A KNUTSFORD restaurant teamed up with a national charity for a festive fundraiser.
Gusto on King Street was host to 60 people on December 4 for a Red Cross Christmas fundraiser.
Tickets cost £35, with £5 donated to the Red Cross, and included a three-course meal, wine and sounds of the 80s from Phunk Phenomena. There was a tombola and a live auction with auctioneer Rick Dallimore from Meller Braggins, which brought the total to £3,000 for the night.
Clare Henderson, senior community fundraiser said: “The Gusto event was a lovely way for locals to get together for Christmas while raising money for a great cause that helps locally, around the UK and the world.”
