IT'S not the first time that the man who tried to confront Rio Ferdinand over the weekend has made the headlines.
In 2007 Stott was suspended from Knutsford High after having a Nike ‘Tick’ shaved in his hair.
Deputy head teacher Stephen Cunliffe said Matthew’s cut broke rules on appearance at the time and he could only return when his hair had grown back.
The Sun reported at the time that the youngster, who paid £7 for the style, said: “It’s really upset me. I love Nike and thought the tick would look cool.”
His mum, Louise, told the paper: “It’s outrageous. Now he’s going to miss at least two weeks of schoolwork. It’s not as if he’s had a skinhead cut — just a tick and two flashes.”
