ANYONE who attended the Christmas Lights Switch On may have spotted Fagin’s Gang singing some well-known songs from Oliver! the musical.
The cast of Oliver!, which is being performed in January 2013, took a slot on the stage bus, before the lights were switched on, to sing through Oom Pah Pah, You’ve got to Pick a Pocket or Two Boys and Consider Yourself.
After their turn on stage Fagin’s Gang were seen roaming the streets.
They then descended en mass to Kings Street where, dreaming of Food Glorious Food, they were snapped as they coveted the sweets on display at Mr Sims Olde Sweet Shoppe on King Street.
Oliver! is being performed at The Grange Theatre, Hartford, from January 16 to 19.
You can buy tickets on line at KMTC.org.uk. Mr Simms Olde Sweet Shop also has a small stock of tickets available for those not able to get on line. Box office number is 01565 634551.
