A CARTOON exhibition featuring some of the country’s finest artists – including a Knutsfordian – is currently on display in the town.
John Roberts, of Court Terrace, off Stanley Road, specialises in ‘on-the-spot’ or ‘live’ caricatures at weddings, corporate events, exhibitions and over the past 20 years has worked for numerous blue chip companies throughout the UK, Europe and the Middle East.
Along with three other cartoonist colleagues, including Lostock Green resident Bill Stott, he is exhibiting some of his work at Knutsford Heritage Centre.
The exhibition is currently open and runs until December 22, with visitors being able to purchase some of the cartoons on display.
John said: “I decided to exhibit some of my caricatures of past and present British comedians.
“We’ve got the best cartoonists in the country at the exhibition – they have featured in Punch, Private Eye and Readers Digest. It’s a great opportunity for people to own a Punch original.”
