Cannabis plants found on Warrington Road, High Legh

POLICE have discovered hundreds of cannabis plants in a bungalow in High Legh.

They were called around 8.20am on Thursday to a builder’s yard and farmhouse close to the Bears Paw on Warrington Road.

A member of the public saw four men carrying the plants from the address.

According to police, when they arrived they found 'hundreds' of plants and have been removing items and associated equipment since.

Officers have also found copper wiring, which is presumed stolen.

No arrests have been made.
