Massive Attack have revealed details of their first UK tour in over five years.
Bristol duo Robert “3D” Del Naja and Grant “Daddy G” Marshall will play nine gigs around the country throughout January and February 2016, which includes two shows at London’s Brixton O2 Academy.
This will be Massive Attack’s first standalone headline tour in over five years, and will also include dates in Glasgow, Leicester, Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham, Portsmouth and Brighton.
Support will come from Scottish trio Young Fathers.
The pair also revealed they are releasing a new album later this year, which comes five years after Heligoland in 2010.
Pre-sale tickets for the UK shows are available now from www.massiveattack.com before tickets are available at 9am on October 9.
The news has already become a trending topic on Twitter, as fans express their excitement over the upcoming shows.
