Jennifer Lawrence could find herself on the other side of the lens, as she is in talks to play war photographer Lynsey Addario in an upcoming biopic.
The Oscar-winning actress is tipped to portray the Pulitzer Prize-winning photo journalist in the big-screen adaptation of her memoirs, It’s What I Do: A Photographer’s Life Of Love And War.
Steven Spielberg is in discussions to direct the film for Warner Bros, with Andrew Lazar producing, reported Deadline.
Lynsey’s memoir – which follows her expeditions to conflict areas including Afghanistan, Libya, Iraq, Darfur, the Congo, and Haiti – has been a hot title since it featured as excerpts in the New York Times Magazine. It was published on February 5.
According to Deadline, other actresses who had been in the running include Natalie Portman, Margot Robbie and Reese Witherspoon.
