THE Winachi Tribe are continuing their California takeover with their second tour of the US in just a year.
Warrington's electro funk pioneers made their debut headline tour of the States in March and are heading back there today, Thursday, until September 24 for gigs and industry showcases.
One of the shows on September 21 in Los Angeles will see them support The Charlatans while the band will also spend some of the time recording with John X at 'Earthstar Creation Centre' in Venice Beach, California. The renowned producer has worked with the likes of David Bowie, The Rolling Stones and U2.
As well as the US tours, 2018 has seen The Winachi Tribe play a 25-date UK tour and release the single Transition which was playlisted all over the world from BBC Introducing to Billboard China.
Frontman Liam Croker, a former Bridgewater High student, said: "This has been the biggest year of our career, we're blown away by the response and demand for the Winachi Tribe in Los Angles, a city that's been integral in the rise of our band. We can't thank our fans and management enough who have supported us through thick and thin."
The Winachi Tribe's next UK dates is Sonder Festival in Manchester on September 28.
