WOULD you be willing to banish your fences to create a huge communal garden with your neighbours?
The team behind BBC2’s The Big Allotment Challenge are currently working on a new primetime gardening series called ‘Garden Republic’.
It will follow a group of neighbouring residents who will each expand their individual gardens to nurture a green space that they will all share.
The communal garden could include anything from a rose garden to a fruit orchard or used to tend chickens or build a play area.
The producers are looking for a group of neighbours who would be willing to take on the project.
