Mountain of toys donated for children

11:27am Wednesday 2nd January 2013

Frank Marshall & Co and Sphere FS joined together in the run- up to Christmas to help out their chosen charity, Cash for Kids.

Cash for kids launched Mission Christmas to help disadvantaged children have a brighter Christmas.

Millions of children in poverty will wake up on Christmas day without any presents. They ask for you to buy one extra toy this Christmas, all of the new toys are then collected then wrapped up and distributed to local communities ready for Christmas. Frank Marshall & Co and Sphere FS organised a Toy Drop Day for toys to be donated and handed into their Knutsford estate agency office on Princess Street.

The day proved to be a huge success, with more than 200 new toys being donated for boys and girls of all ages.

The generous visitors of Knutsford and the local area were rewarded with mince pies and mulled wine throughout the day. Nick Tomlinson, Frank Marshall & Co’s estate agency principal said: “We have been overwhelmed by the kindness and generosity of those who gave their donations to us.

“We expected that there would be a steady stream of donations, but by the end of the day our office was becoming rather full.

“More than 200 children will be receiving gifts donated to us on Christmas day, which is a fantastic fact we all should be very proud of.”

Frank Marshall and Sphere FS would like to say a big thankyou to all the people who donated toys.
