Following on from the success of last year's Warrington Guardian Strong Man competition, we are once again on the prowl for Warrington's strongest men!
The Strong Man competition will take place at the Warrington Horse & County Show this coming Bank Holiday Monday, May 26 at Hall Lane Farm, Daresbury and the contest for cash prizes promises to be fierce.
The competition is just for fun, is free to enter and could see you walk away with a cash prize.
The first prize winner will receive £50, a trophy, and the grand title of Warrington
Guardian Strong Man 2008! Our second prize winner will receive £30 and a third winner will receive £20.
The competitors will battle it out over four rounds: -
All you need to do to take part is register your details at the Warrington Guardian trailer at the Horse Show (places for the competition are limited).
Even if you don't fancy taking part, go along and show your support.
The Strong Man starts at 1.40pm in the main arena, although entertainment is on offer throughout the day.
