READING FC will take on Huddersfield Town in the Championship play-off final after the Terriers edged past Sheffield Wednesday tonight (Wednesday).
The Terriers and the Owls battled all the way to a penalty shootout, which Huddersfield won 4-3.
It was Wednesday's Fernando Forestieri who sealed Huddersfield's place in the final when he missed the decisive spot-kick, much to the dismay of the home crowd.
Now David Wagner's men are the only thing standing between Royals and a place in the top-flight for the third time in the club's history.
The two sides will meet at Wembley Stadium on May 29 with a shot of winning around £170m and more importantly, guarenteed Premier League football next season.
Royals beat Huddersfield 1-0 at Madejski Stadium back in December but they lost the reverse fixture by the same scoreline February.
And fans are already suggested this is Reading's golden opportunity to win a Championship play-off final after 2011's match against Swansea City ended in heartbreak.
@ChronCourtney @htafcdotcom Tough game. Weird we'll go into as favourites and Sky'll probably big us up for once! Great opportunity for us to go up tho!
