CREAM teas and entertainment will be the order of the day at the East Cheshire Hospice Garden Party.

Organised in partnership with the Cheshire and Warrington Carers Centre, the garden party is designed to offer an afternoon of relaxation for carers and their families.

The free event will take place at the hospice’s Sunflower Centre on Tuesday June 10, from 3pm to 7pm.

Cheshire and Warrington Carers Centre spokeswoman Tracy Stubbs said: “We love working with the hospice for the garden party and it is a special event.

“It is lovely to provide a chance for carers to get away with their loved ones.”

On the day, guests can enjoy music, light refreshments, games, treatments and entertainment. Musician Peter Blackthorne will be playing guitar alongside harmonica player Kenneth Miller.

Carers and their families can turn up on the day but booking is encouraged. To book a place at the event, call 01625 616686.
